About Us

Born, raised, and educated in Ruston, Louisiana, John obtained his B.A. in Political Science, Pre-Law at Louisiana Tech University in 2012. During his time at La Tech John played Division I Football for the Bulldogs. After college John moved to Jackson, Mississippi and attended Mississippi College School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2015. During his law school tenure John interned with a prominent real estate brokerage managing all HUD Foreclosure REOs for the central and southern portion of Mississippi and ultimately obtained his Mississippi Brokers license in 2014.

After graduation from law school John moved to Nashville and began working in the title industry until he met his now wife Ansley who was a Mississippi native. They married and returned to Mississippi where John was then licensed as an attorney with the Mississippi Bar in 2018. John was the managing broker for a Berkshire Hathaway Brokerage until he opened his own real estate brokerage in the central Mississippi area which is still active to date. John and his family returned to Nashville where he was admitted to the Tennessee bar and obtained his Tennessee Brokers license in 2019.

John brings a wide range of experience and expertise to the real estate business. He has managed thousands of transactions as a real estate broker and closed thousands of transactions as a title attorney, ranging from commercial, industrial, agricultural, and residential. With his collective skills in the two synonymous branches of the real estate business he brings a valuable perspective with hands-on experience eager for any scenario you may have.

John enjoys his family life, married to his wife Ansley and raising their two children, Lawson and Halle. They live on a small farm in Eagleville, Tennessee where his family enjoys taking care of their animals and garden.

A Tennessee native, Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Accounting from East Tennessee State University. Following college, Josh joined a federal law enforcement agency, serving as a Special Agent for six years. He then attended Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law in Memphis, Tennessee, where he completed an internship with a title and escrow company and discovered his passion for real estate and land development. Upon graduating in the top of his law school class, Josh interned for the 7th Circuit Probate Court of Davidson County. He then practiced law as a sole practitioner, primarily focusing on real estate transactions, compliance, and litigation for condemnation and contractual disputes. He brings valuable experience, market knowledge, and personalized service to the Nashville community. Outside of real estate and title, Josh is committed to family, friends, and service to others. He enjoys participating in Crossfit, playing tennis, running, scuba diving, golfing, hiking, skiing, and traveling.

Originally from Jackson, Tennessee, Leslie A. Garside received her B.S. in Sociology from Lambuth University in 2008, where she also minored in Legal Studies.  Following her graduation, Leslie was accepted to and attended the Nashville School of Law, from which she subsequently received her Juris Doctorate Degree in May 2012.  She received her license to practice law in the state of Tennessee in November 2012.

Leslie began her career in title in the fall of 2010 while still attending law school.  Her thorough knowledge of the entire process make her well versed and knowledgeable in all aspects of title insurance and closing, and her background in customer service related positions prior to title makes her an ideal go-to attorney for your transactions in the middle Tennessee area.

In her free time, Leslie enjoys playing golf, reading, traveling, and spending time with her daughter, Clara.

Tameika Jones is originally from Memphis and moved to Middle Tennessee in 2000 for college. She graduated in 2004 from MTSU and has been in the real estate industry (in one form or another) for her entire career, roughly 17+ years. She has a teenage daughter and a bur-baby (Yorkie) that takes up most of her time. Outside of them, she loves traveling, reading, music, socializing, and just having a good ole’ time!

Originally from Enterprise, Alabama, Elizabeth moved to Nashville in 2021. She attended Troy University, where she studied English and Criminal Justice. Growing up in a military community, she understand the strain that moving and closing on a property can have. This led Elizabeth to start her career working in real estate. She became a licensed Realtor® in Alabama in 2015 and worked many years in property management. Through her years of experience in real estate, she has worked with all parties involved in a transaction. She understands the important role that title and escrow plays and is eager to help make your closing process less stressful.

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, fellowship with friends, exploring Nashville, and spoiling her Shih Tzu, Max.

Originally from Minnesota, Emily made the move to Nashville in 2019. She started her career with a financial institution that excels at entrepreneurial real estate transactions. From there Emily held a transaction coordinator position in both Minneapolis and Nashville. She also became a licensed real estate agent in the state of Minnesota in 2018.

Transitioning into the title and escrow side has allowed her to use her previous knowledge to help both clients and agent have a smooth transaction. As a processor, she is a part of each step with clients to ensure that they feel confident and secure from start to finish. She is a great communicator and goes above and beyond to make sure closing is as stress-free as possible.

Emily currently resides in the Germantown neighborhood of Nashville with her dog, Belle. In her free time she enjoys traveling the world, spending time with family, going on hikes with her dog, and hunting for the best spicy margarita in Nashville.

Allison was born and raised in Hendersonville, TN.  While attending college, she worked for a local pharmacy, where she developed her love for small business.  After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University, she worked in hospice and case management for addiction and mental health.  Allison left healthcare for the legal field to work in foreclosure and bankruptcy. She has been a processor with Magnolia since 2020 and enjoys the interactions with agents and lenders while coordinating all the details of the closing. Being a part of someone’s first closing, whether a new agent or first time homebuyer, brings her a lot of joy.

She currently lives in the Sylvan Park neighborhood, with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. When she’s not at work, she loves to visit local food markets and restaurants, cooking, antiques, music, movies, photography, and art. And of course, Allison loves spending time with friends and family.

Sarah Simmons was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. After attending Columbia State and studying Psychology, she followed her love for helping people and become a licensed aesthetician. Sarah’s career is aesthetics included managing practices, sales training, and developing an expertise in client care.

In 2014, Sarah started her career in the title industry. She seamlessly translated her skills into serving the local real estate market. Sarah is passionate about building authentic relationships with realtors and lenders. She considers herself part of their team. Sarah loves being at the closing table with buyers and sellers at such an important moment in their lives. She believes the closing experience can be both educational and fun. In 2018 Sarah was awarded the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors “Affiliate of the Year”. She loves supporting agents new to the business and has served and chaired the Young Professional Committee for several years.

When Sarah is not cheering on her clients, she is typically playing dress up with her 5-year-old daughter, Melrose or trucks with her 19-month-old son, Lenny. She enjoys travel and exploring new cities with her husband, Jeff. Sarah is always up for trying a new coffee shop, although the honey lavender latte at The Perch is her favorite.

Makayla was born and raised in Shelby, North Carolina. She was homeschooled all the way through until she reached college, where she graduated with her Associates in Arts. Her heart for missions, travel, and people lead her to live in the Dominican Republic for four months,
where there, her plan to go to Dental Hygiene school changed. She moved to Nashville shortly after in 2018 with her sister and began working closely with people in the restaurant industry and for camps.

In 2021, she got engaged and began working for Magnolia! Makayla loves that in her job as a Closing Coordinator, she is able to build relationships with the clients within Magnolia, be apart of the early stages of individuals selling and buying their homes, and then witnessing the completed stage at closing, that Magnolia’s team has worked so hard towards.

When Makayla is not working at the front desk answering phones and responding to emails, she is spending time with her fiancé, Stephen. They love to go to the AMC theaters, drink coffee, and laugh together. She also loves to be home with her family in North Carolina, especially her niece and nephews.

Growing up right down the road in Franklin, Tennessee, Jordyn received her Bachelor’s Degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. She was a double major in Secondary Education and English, with a triple minor in Journalism, Communications, and Theater. Following graduation, Jordyn moved to Nairobi, Kenya to teach at an International School for two years. She then moved to East Nashville to continue her teaching career at a charter school, pouring into the local community for the next four years.

Transitioning into the title and escrow world has been a great adventure, allowing Jordyn to broaden her skill sets, as well as utilize her previous experiences in new and creative ways. She loves building relationships in the city she grew up in and being a part of the growth that is happening in middle Tennessee. As the Director of Business Development, she especially loves celebrating with first time homeowners, as well as keeping Magnolia connected to the real estate agents and lenders of Nashville.

Jordyn currently resides in Brentwood with her husband, Jon, who is a fitness coach for a gym in Franklin. In her free time, she loves participating in CrossFit, running, reading good books, painting, spending time with family and friends, and adding to her list of over 22 countries visited.

Originally from Ohio, Kelly moved to Middle Tennessee in 2018. She has held a variety of roles in the real estate industry for most of her 22 year career.

Kelly currently resides in Thompson’s Station with her husband, Kevin, who is a local land developer, and their rescue dachshunds. In her free time, she is an avid equestrian and enjoys participating in horse shows and working with her beloved dachshund rescue group, based in Tennessee. Outside of her horse and fur-babies, she loves golf, traveling, spending time with friends and family.

Tabatha Edwards brings extensive experience in the Mortgage and Title Industries going back to 1993. Originally from Ohio, Tabatha moved to middle Tennessee in 1987 while still in high school. After attending Vol State Community College, she immediately went into a professional career path in finance. Starting as a small loan processor, she quickly moved on to mortgage processing and originating for the next 10 years. This experience allowed her to seamlessly transition into the Title Industry in the early 2000’s. Her favorite thing is to close first time home buyers and see the joy and excitement in their faces.

She and her husband, Thom of 25 years, live in a log home they built on 22 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of Smith County. So she knows the challenges involved in building a new home! Together they have 2 grown boys, Levi and Dustin, 3 cats, and 1 dog. Thom is a professional musician and teacher. In their spare time, you can find them camping (or as Tabatha says, Glamping), kayaking, and eating Mexican food.
